One person
a) Daily tariff US$ 200 x (number of nights)
b) Daily surcharge US$ 40 x (number of nights)
c) Tourism development fee: US$ 10 (one time)
d) Visa fee: US$ 20 (one time)
Two persons
a) Daily tariff US$ 180 per guest x (number of nights)
b) Daily surcharge US$ 30 per guest x (number of nights)
c) Tourism development fee: US$ 10 per guest (one time)
d) Visa fee: US$ 20 per guest (one time)
 
3 and more persons
a) Daily tariff US$ 180 per guest x (number of nights)
b) Tourism development fee: US$ 10 per guest (One time)
c) Visa fee: US$ 20 per guest (One time)
 

Discounts

A) Diplomats (upon Government approval)

B) No charge for children up to 5 years

C) Full time students below the age of 25 years

D) 50% discount for one person in a group of 11 to 15 people

E) 100% discount for one person in a group exceeding 16 persons
F) 10% discount for halts between 11 to 20 nights

G) 20% discount for halts beyond 21 nights

VISA

Visa is required before one travels to Bhutan and is processed ONLY in Thimphu, the Capital city.  You need to avail services of local tour operator to facilitate such arrangements.  There is no such thing as "Visa On Arrival" and basically no airline will issue you ticket into Bhutan without you showing a valid visa. 

Please provide the following to The Last Shangrila to provide your our services

  • Copy of 6-months valid passport at least 1 month prior to planned date of entry to Bhutan. This time is required process visa approval
  • Please note:  Actual visa is stamped ONLY on arrival in Bhutan but once approved WE will send you the Visa Approval reference number
  • Visa Clearance number is also forwarded directly to Druk Air. Without this clearance number the passenger(s) are not allowed to board the flight
  • Visa Clearance is also sent to Border Checkpoints to support travellers entering by road
  • Please carry 2 passport size photos during time of Visa Stamping in port of entry.
  • Completed and Signed Visa Application form.  Please contact us for electronic copy (doc or pdf) of the Application form.

Please carry valid passport that has minimum validity of 6 months.
